Hold On ..Here We Go

Stringy haired girl and a stubborn daughter

Couldnt Keep her from that hose pipe water

Mud on her pants and bruises on her knees

tomato sandwich waitin, her momma with tea

Where is this girl who ran all day

Not a care in the world just wanted to play

With dirt roads ahead and Wet grass on her feet

Not a day passed that they wouldnt meet

Nothin will let her lose the child that was free

Cow pastures and Cotton fields let her soul breath

With Memories still fresh as Honey Suckle in the air

Theres No doubt she still loves the wind in her hair
The Sound of crickets replay that song in her heart

..She no longer feels that they're oceans apart...

Barefoot girl of yesterday grew into the woman she is today

She now embraces them both and keeps neither tucked away

...for each make her whole ...

The days of the past fill the space in her soul

With Sunshine on her face

The dirt road has led her to her rightful place

But theres one thing thats certain here

The end of this journey is no where near

There will be no time to rest

for the Lord knew what was best...

He gave her 3 children to see after

Think We all know this isnt her final chapter.....

One thing is clear im blessed to have momma, family,&friends near.....
And if all else fails I have no fear ..this is one momma who will grab a beer:)
